Students enrolled in the KBCC Education Program learn the importance and the benefits of allowing children to explore, discover and construct their own knowledge through hands-on activities.  As part of our courses, the students engage in hands-on activities, giving them the opportunity to experience by themselves the benefits associated with this type of activities.  They are encouraged to document their efforts during in-class activities and/or in the field by taking pictures of their work.  They can later post some of the pictures in their ePortfolios.  The pictures (photos) add an aesthetic visual component to the corresponding written work they have been advised to upload to their ePortfolios.
